Ohio officials say at least four students were wounded in a shooting at a suburban Cincinnati high school, and a suspect is in custody. The injured students suffered non-life-threatening wounds and it is unclear what prompted the shooting. Local reports allege the shots were fired in a Madison High School cafeteria by an James Austin Hancock, 14, with two of the injured being hit by shrapnel. Several schools in the town, about 30 miles north of Cincinnati, were still on lockdown after the incident was over, but sheriff’s officials have asked parents to stay away from the school until the scene is cleared. Hancock has reportedly been charged with attempted murder and inducing panic.
