The American Civil Liberties Union and the Freedom From Religion Foundation have sued a New Hampshire public school district over a live-action Nativity scene performed annually by students. According to the complaint, filed on behalf of a Concord High School student and his father, the "Christmas Spectacular" reenactment unconstitutionally endorses religion on public school grounds. The plaintiffs seek to force the school to make the event entirely secular in nature.
