Michael Brelo, the Cleveland police officer who was acquitted of manslaughter for shooting and killing two unarmed people in 2012, is now facing arrest for assault. Brelo and his brother are charged with one count of misdemeanor assault after getting in a fight on May 27, four days after he was cleared for firing 49 shots into the car of a black couple (some while standing on the car's hood). According to the police report about the Brelos, they were both drinking. Brelo is expected to turn himself in.
