All charges were dropped Monday against Mary Inabinett, the 63-year-old woman who was originally accused of grabbing, shaking, and yelling at Kellyanne Conway at a Mexican restaurant in 2018, ABC7 reports. Inabinett faced charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct stemming from the Oct. 14 incident, during which she allegedly grabbed Conway’s arms from behind and started shaking her while yelling “shame on you!” Her trial was scheduled to start Monday—but prosecutors announced that they’d decided to drop the case. Montgomery County Assistant State’s Attorney Kathy Knight explained that Inabinett had no criminal record, didn’t hurt Conway, and wrote the adviser an apology letter.
