Is Kate getting back into baby mode?
The Royalist has been told that friends of the young royals believe she may be 'gearing up' to get pregnant again.
And it also appears Kate has finally cracked on the issue of childcare, with a report from Daily Mail columnist Sebastian Shakespeare today saying that William and Kate are now hunting for a new full-time nanny.
The move comes despite Kate's previous insistence to friends that she would like to avoid having full-time help with Prince George. It could be that with thoughts of a second child looming larger, Kate is simply bowing to the inevitable sooner rather than later.
Wiliam and Kate have previously said they would like two children.
But there is also the not-so-small matter of the forthcoming tour of Australia, due to start in just four weeks time. Jessie Webb, William's old nanny who was helping out at Kensington Palace, has told William and Kate she can't make such a gruelling trip.
There had been reports that Carole Middleton would accompany Kate on the tour to act as nanny, but these have been quashed by the palace.
Prince George was born on July 22 last year, so if Kate were to get pregnant now there would be a 16-month age gap between the two children.
