The man arrested as the suspected Arizone freeway shooter claims police have got the wrong guy—and that his gun has been in a pawn shop for months. Leslie Allen Merritt Jr. was linked to the crimes by his weapon. "Are there others out there? Are there copycats? That is possible," the Department of Public Safety director said. "We will continue to investigate." Merritt is charged with four counts of driveby shooting, among other crimes.
