Zach Galifianakis in Fiona Apple’s “Not About Love”

Next Previous

Fiona Apple typically seems pretty miserable in her lyrics and music videos, but a then barely known but still bushy-faced Zach Galifianakis brought out the comedic side in her. Apple brought in the man who made The Hangover hilarious to lip-sync for the 2005 music video for her single “Not About Love.” Watch her try not to laugh as Galifianakis reads her lyrics off a piece of paper in bed. (And that doesn’t even compare to the fully clothed dancing in the ocean.) Eventually, the chanteuse cracks. Their collaboration was so enjoyable, apparently, that Galifianakis asked her to duet with him for his gag track, ”Come On And Get It (Up In ‘Dem Guts)” in 2006, in which she croons: “If you show me your fanny pack / I’ll show you my fanny.”
