13 Terrifying Killer Clowns

In “Treehouse of Horror III,” a special Halloween-themed episode that aired during The Simpsons’ fourth season, one of the three segments, “Clown Without Pity,” centers on Homer buying Bart a talking Krusty the Clown doll for his birthday from the House of Evil. Even though the shop owner and old Grandpa Abe warn Homer that the doll is cursed, he ignores their claims—that is, until the doll makes several attempts on his life, including stabbing him with a large knife and choking him to death. The short was a spoof of the Twilight Zone episode “Living Doll.”
