Erykah Badu, the First Lady of Neo-Soul got fined last year for baring more than just her soul to the residents of Dallas during the filming of her low-budget “Window Seat” video. The singer was fined $500 for walking naked through Dealey Plaza, the site of JFK’s assassination, apparently speaking out against what she calls “groupthink,” the psychological term for following the crowd at the cost of sacrificing individuality. Badu quoted some of her critics on her Twitter: “They were yelling , THIS IS A PUBLIC PLACE : YOU OUGHTA BE ASHAMED : PUT YOUR CLOTHES ON : DAMN GIRL! etc...”
