Twenty-seven-year-old Sara Blakely changed the world in 2000 when she introduced Spanx, pantyhose for the 21st century that reconfigured women’s figures and got an official blessing from Oprah herself. Ten years later, the company introduced Spanx for Men, including undershirts “that reduced the waistline and support the back” and underwear that “supports and lifts.” Tom Hanks admitted to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush that he relied on Manx for the underwear scene in Larry Crowne. “As long as there have been tighty-whiteys, there have been Man Spanx,” Hanks confessed. “They do something for you down there. That little peach forms.”
