aka, the Villain
Officer Bologna became notorious after two separate videos of him unnecessarily pepper-spraying female protesters surfaced on the Internet. The NYPD said Bologna was aiming for “some men who he believed were pushing up against officers and causing a confrontation that put officers at risk of injury.” Apparently, Bologna has some pretty bad aim. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has launched an investigation, but at least the controversy earned Bologna a segment on The Daily Show.
It's not the first time Bologna’s tactics have gotten him into trouble. He is at the center of a lawsuit that claims he falsely arrested protesters at the 2004 Republican National Convention.
