The anonymous bank customer who was reportedly just trying to close her account when she was forcibly dragged back into a midtown Citibank location by a police officer and arrested. Twenty-four people were arrested for “criminal trespass” at the same Citibank in New York City over the weekend. After the incident, Citibank released a statement that read, “To be clear: no one was arrested for closing an account; we didn't lock people in our branch—the police decided to close the branch; and we didn't ask for anyone to be arrested—that is a police decision”
