After an unaired interview between LaGreca and a Fox News producer went viral, The New York Observer asked: is Jesse LaGreca the smartest man on Wall Street? It seemed that way when LaGreca calmly rebuffed an interviewer for On the Record With Greta Van Susteren in late September, saying, “I think it’s time for maybe, I don’t know, some participation in our democracy that isn’t funded by news cameras and gentlemen such as yourself.” LaGreca, who writes for Daily Kos and has been chronicling his Occupy Wall Street experiences there, got the attention of Jon Stewart a few days after the Observer posted the video.
