Being a spokesman for Occupy Wall Street has not been without its difficulties. Occupy Wall Street’s unofficial public-relations representative Patrick Bruner decided to volunteer soon after hearing about the protest. He recently graduated from college with an English degree but had been unable to find a job. In September, he had to explain to a multitude of disappointed Radiohead fans that the band would not be performing at the protests. “I got hoaxed. Radiohead was never confirmed. Completely our fault. Apologies. The band were victims in this hoax as well,” he wrote.
