Famous Wedding Dresses: Kristen Stewart, Kim Kardashian, and More
Bella Swan's wedding dress has hit the big screen. See other gowns that made a big splash on the big day.
At long last, the moment Twilight fans have been waiting for: Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) finally tie the knot in a Midsummer Night’s Dream setting (and subsequently release years of sexual tension) in Breaking Dawn: Part I. The onscreen ceremony was equally suspenseful for Carolina Herrera, who spent six months designing the dress for actress Kristen Stewart. “I still have all the sketches and everything because it was so special,” she told E! News. “You had to really take in consideration the whole story—which was this innocent girl with the first true love of her life. It had to be magical.” Stewart gushed (and cursed) about the experienced in an interview with British GQ: “When I looked at the set, with the pews and the lights, and I could see everyone was there in all their outfits, I cried. God, that f***ing dress!” But don’t assume the real-life couple is headed down the aisle anytime soon. While Stewart told Us Weekly the Twilight wedding felt like “a genuine experience,” Pattinson said he’s “not really a wedding kind of guy.”
