Prince William and Kate Middleton Take No-Frills Flight

She’s known for her thrifty Main Street shopping sprees, and Prince William and Kate Middleton once again showed an assured mastery of their famed ‘common touch’ when they flew home from their ski trip on British no-frills airline easyJet on Sunday night.

The flight on Easyjet from Geneva to Manchester may have cost as little as £60 per person, and will go some way to whitewashing the inconvenient fact that this is actually Will and Kate’s second luxury holiday of the year, after a jaunt to Mustique in January.

The future King and Queen had been skiing in the French Alps with Kate’s family—including Pippa and George Percy—for a week.

According to the Daily Express’s Royal reporter Richard Palmer, the pair boarded the aircraft with their police protection officers before the rest of the passengers.

Passenger Chris Nash tweeted: “Still can’t believe how close I was to Will and Kate.”

William and Kate left the airport in his Range Rover after the flight,  headed to their cottage in North Wales.
