Pictures of Prince Harry playing pool naked in Las Vegas were seen by 154 million people and generated free publicity worth $23m for Las Vegas.

The 28-year-old royal caused controversy when nude photographs of him playing strip billiards with a bevy of beauties were published online in August, but according a new report issued by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) the incident has given the city a major tourism boost.

Here is Prince Harry as you've never seen him before - stripped naked in a Las Vegas hotel room. Photos, obtained by celebrity news website, show the royal larking around with friends and attempting to cover his modesty. According to TMZ, Harry got naked during a game of strip pool in a VIP suite at the MGM Grand hotel on the night of Friday August 17, 2012. TMZ reported that the Prince went to the hotel bar with his large entourage, met a group of girls and invited them back to the suite. The celebrity news website claims the people Harry is pictured with are both topless girls.

LVCVA Board Chairman Tom Collins told a recent board meeting: ''God bless Prince Harry. He made us a bunch of money'', according to TMZ.

The agency is reportedly unsure of exactly how much the scandal boosted profits but officials say there is no doubt that the scandal had a positive effect on their economy.
