Report: Harry, Will and Kate Get Free Legal Cover
We all know that one of the perks of being a member of the royal family is all the free stuff, but now it seems that the Royals even get their legal advice comped.
William and Kate will not have to spend a cent in their law suit against French magazine, Closer, which published the first topless photos of Kate, because, according to a report in RadarOnline, the legal firm that represents the royals, Harbottle & Lewis, has offered its services for free, saving William and Kate an estimated $2 million in fees.
They also provided free legal advice to Harry over his naked Vegas pictures (although they were less succesful at keeping those off the net).
“The royal family has kept their legal team busy in the last few weeks, but lucky for them they don’t have to pay for their services,” a source told RadarOnline.
“Harbottle & Lewis provide the royals with legal guidance free of charge—simply because of the prestige they get from having them as their client. It’s held in high acclaim to be the legal firm that looks after the royal family’s best interests and has meant they have secured contracts with other high-profile clients because of that relationship.”
