Welcome to the Fiscal Mountain
Still not certain we'll get a tax cut bill passed. Nothing yet on spending. A debt ceiling issue that won't be going away anytime soon. Unemployment that must not be tolerated to linger far above historical norms. A Eurozone that forever threatens to pull the world's economy underwater. States increasingly facing debt burdens that threaten insolvency. And on top of it all, we can't pass a basic budget.
