Raf Simons's Premiere Dior Campaign

Raf Simons has ensured that all the hype surrounding his 2012 debut as creative director at Christian Dior spills over into the New Year by revealing his very first campaign for the brand.

The minimal, surrealist images conjure up the same freshness as Simons’s inaugural show. They also represent a new leaf for the house, which is previously known to collaborate with blockbuster photographers like Peter Lindbergh and Craig McDean. This time however, they’ve enlisted longtime Simons collaborator Willy Vanderperre who’s previously shot advertisements for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Proenza Schouler, and Simons’s previous employer, Jil Sander. Dior has debuted Vanderperre’s on their new website, DiorMag, which was created to help jack-up the brand’s techy quotient.
