YSL Troubles Loom: Troubles are reportedly brewing over at Saint Laurent Paris. The house, which was supposed to debut its pre-fall collection this week, has reportedly cancelled its press presentation last-minute. Selfriges’s Quiet Corner: UK department store Selfridges has collaborated with upstart Headspace, a company that bills itself as the “world’s first gym membership for the mind” to create a series of quiet-time practices. The store has begun holding mass meditations on its cosmetics floor, drawing over 500 people. They’ve also erected a ‘Silence Room’ where shoppers can respite in peace, and have developed a special retail component: The Quiet Shop features ‘No Noise’ products—taking iconic items like La Mer and selling them without a branded label.
