The Boy Scouts Enter the 21st Century

It looks like the Boy Scouts of America are rethinking their horrible policy of banning both homosexual scouts and leaders from the BSA, which was reaffirmed last year. This comes days after a very public dispute between the BSA and Maryland-based Pack 442 over a non-discrimination statement that was added to the local Pack website.

Pack 442 WILL NOT discriminate against any individual or family based on race, religion, national origin, ability or sexual orientation

While the BSA gave the troop until last Friday to take it down or else have their charter revoked, it looks as if the public outcry has forced the BSA give up on the policy as early as next week.
