Bangladesh Leglislation Introduced in House: Two US House democrats made a motion on Wednesday to create an amendment in the Department of Defense spending bill, one which would require all military garments manufactured in Bangladesh to adhere to an “enforceable accord on building and fire safety,” reports WWD. The Department of Defense is being specifically targeted for their production of military apparel. George Miller (D., California), one of the congressmen who presented the motion, visited Bangladesh last month and told ABC news upon his return, "Workers that manufacture clothing, embossed with our nation's military slogans and insignias, shouldn't have to face blocked fire exists and threats of being fired for refusing to work in unsafe conditions."  [WWD]

Boehner Sings to Kate Upton: Worlds collided in a New York City hotel elevator when Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Kate Upton, crossed paths with her uncle, Michigan congressman Fred Upton, on her 21st birthday. "Uncle Fred" has friends in high places, and was on his way to a fundraiser with none other than House Speaker John Boehner. Which is how Upton's landed herself a birthday serenade from none other than Boehner himself. The famously tan official sang his famous birthday jingle '21st Birthday', reports the National Journal. Tiffany's Heist: A thief got more than breakfast at Tiffany's when he stole a combined sum of $100,000 in diamond necklaces from the jewelry retailer’s Fifth Avenue store. Police officials say the man, who was inconspicuously dressed in a full suit, entered the store at 3pm and asked an employee if he could see two necklaces. After chatting with the employee for a few minutes, the thief distracted him and proceeded to swipe the jewels off the counter. [NYDN]

Gisele Models Her Own Lingerie: Who better to model Gisele Bündchen's new intimates collection than her own self? The collection is called Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimates and the scantily clad photo shoot was done only four months after the model gave birth to her daughter, Vivian Lake. [Fashion Gone Rogue]

Burberry Kisses: Burberry has finally figured out what the Internet was missing: a virtual kissing booth. The luxury brand is working with Google to create a promotional website called Burberry Kisses, which will allow visitors to take photos of themselves 'puckering up.' They’ll then be able to send the images to a special someone. A print-out of your kiss can also be customized with different shades of Burberry lipstick. [NYT]
