Hair Robbery Is Acutally A Crime in Venezuela: Women in Venezuela apparently need to be more protective over their hair. The Huffington Post reports that "a group known as “piranhas” are now stealing women’s hair -- and they prefer it straight." The piranhas apparently hold women at gunpoint in Maracaibo and ask the women to put their hair into a ponytail, making it easier to cut. They then reportedly sell the female hair to local salons as hair extensions. Eveling de Rosales, Maracaibo's mayor, stated that “men and women were being placed to guard and avoid [the situation from] happening again.” [The Huffington Post]

Rihanna Celebrates Carnival in a Jewel-Encrusted Bikini: We all know RiRi loves anything bedazzled and cropped, so it's no surprise that the singer rocked a barely-there, jewel encrusted bikini as she rode on a float during Barbados's Carnival. Jack White Challenges Karen Elson's Restraining Order: Last week, model Karen Elson was granted a restraining order against ex-husband Jack White following harrassment allegations. The White Stripes singer is now fighting back, countersuing Elson's claims with a series of e-mails in which she "praises his parenting skills." The countermotion states: "The reason for filing this response is that Mr White does not want to be portrayed as something he is not - violent towards his wife and children. One who is truly fearful of another would not leave their children alone with that person for 10 days. The truth of the matter is that Ms Elson is not fearful for herself or the parties' minor children." [Vogue UK]
