Just wow. During a recent performance at the venue 54 Below in downtown Manhattan, stand-up comedian Christina Bianco performed a must-see rendition of the Bonnie Tyler classic “Total Eclipse of the Heart” as 19 different musical divas, including Adele, Cher, Britney Spears, and more. It has to be seen to be believed.
Another talented impressionist is theater actress Rachel York. In this clip, watch her perform a stellar version of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” as interpreted by Houston, Dolly Parton, Norah Jones, Christina Aguilera, and… even Elmo.
The Fresh Prince of late night comedy is a veritable vocal chameleon, and has unleashed a grab-bag of fantastic musical impressions, ranging from Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder to Justin Bieber. But we love his spot-on take on Neil Young the best.
FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS
This New Zealand comedy duo, comprised of pals Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, formerly starred on the HBO series Flight of the Conchords—a fictional take on their lives as struggling NZ musicians in New York City. During the show’s run, the fellas showcased a variety of inventive musical performances, including a great impersonation of David Bowie, courtesy of Clement.
The current Saturday Night Live star is probably best known for his outstanding impersonations of Denzel Washington and Chris Rock, but he can also mimic a plethora of contemporary rap stars, including Jay Z, Drake, and more.
People magazine named Anderson “America’s Greatest Singing Impressionist” for his fantastic portrayals of a host of singing legends, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, and more.
