Tell Us Your Worst Internship Stories

After an intern died following a series of reported all-nighters at a bank in London, The Daily Beast seeks your stories of grinding internships.

After a Bank of America intern in London was found dead in his apartment this week, the internet was abuzz with frightening speculation that the 21-year-old—who was described as “popular” and “highly diligent” by his employer—had worked himself to death. Moritz Erhardt had just worked three all-night shifts at the office, according to unconfirmed reports on social media. (Bank of America has declined to comment.)

It's a terrible story, and will undoubtedly add more urgency to a growing movement against alleged abuse against interns in industries from finance to Hollywood.

Have you had a bad experience at a summer internship in—or out of—the finance industry? Would you be willing to share your tale? The Daily Beast wants to hear your stories.

Submit your tale using the form below, and we'll publish the most shocking on our website. Or, if you'd rather, you can send your submission to dailybeastsubmit@gmail.com, including your name and location in the email.
