Haizhen Wang was once again given the job of closing London Fashion Week and—once again—he failed to let anyone down with a show that combined his trademark architectural styling with buckets of shimmer and sass.
Wang—known for his masculine, tailored aesthetic—accessorised all his models in headbands, giving them a warrior-princess feel, a vibe that was aided and abetted by a metallic pallet of silvers and golds.
A minimalist breakbeat soundtrack emphasized Wang's spare and disciplined style. And while his silver leather tunics and sexy shorts might set him in opposition to the prevailing winds in London this season, there's no denying that he once again closed out a stunning five days of fashion in London in impeccable style.
Right, it's been fun, but now I am off to find a dark room and clutch a cold compress to my head. See you back here next season, fashion beasts.
