Eva Longoria Named Maxim's Woman of the Year; Urban Outfitters Pulls Depression Top

And designers choose Spring Studios over Lincoln Center for NYFW.

Eva Longoria Named Maxim's Woman of the Year: 38-year-old actress Eva Longoria is Maxim's Woman of the Year, covering the magazine's latest issue in a simple white tank top. "It's especially awesome after how long it's been since my first cover," Longoria told the magazine. "I've had a beautiful relationship with Maxim over all these years... When someone sees the cover of the issue, they're going to say 'Que Rico!' Say it when something is really good." [People]

Urban Outfitters's Depression Top: Nearly three years after the popular retailer pulled a distasteful t-shirt that read "Eat Less" from its website, Urban Outfitters is (now, was) selling a shirt printed multiple times with the word "Depression." After many complaints about the top, Urban Outfitters issued an apology via Twitter, writing "Hey everyone, we hear you and we are taking the shirt down from our site. For those asking, the tee was designed by a small brand name Depression and we are no longer selling it on our site." [Buzzfeed]

Designers Choose Spring Studios Over Lincoln Center For NYFW: Following rumors that major designers including Diane von Furstenberg and Michael Kors would no longer show at Lincoln Center for fashion week, sources have confirmed with WWD that the speculation is true. It is reported that both DVF and Kors will be trading the tents for Tribeca's hot event space Spring Studios, which exclusively hosted the Calvin Klein show last season. Klein will be returning to Spring Studios for the Fall/Winter 2014 season, along with some younger, up-and-coming designers. [WWD]
