Miley Cyrus's Drops Hints About 'Bangerz' Tour: Always one for shock and awe, the controversial pop star is sure to keep details about her upcoming Bangerz tour a surprise. Hoever, Cyrus did hint at a few things in a recent press conference: the whole tour is based on animals, and there will be a massive screen that may even be too large for some arenas. “I’m giving lots of junk away,” the singer also revealed, “…all the kids always want to keep the confetti, but I want to give them real things to collect." In addition to opening acts Sky Ferreira and Icona Pop, concert goers should expect surprise musical guests in almost every city, as well as (sure to be outrageous) costumes designed by Marc Jacobs, The Blonds, and Jeremy Scott. Michelle Obama Hasn't Ruled Out Plastic Surgery: While Michelle Obama still looks youthful and radiant as she turns 50, plastic surgery is something that’s not necessarily off the table in the future. “Right now, I don’t imagine that I would go that route, but I’ve also learned to never say never,” the First Lady told People magazine in its latest issue, out Friday. Sharing her beauty and health secrets, Obama revealed that she has never missed a health check-up, exercises regularly, and likes to highlight her legs and hips. As for celebrating her birthday, President Obama is finishing up last minute planning for a somewhat-of-a-surprise bash at the White House on Saturday night. [People]
Lottie Moss Makes Her Modeling Debut: Kate is not the only Moss with a reason to celebrate. While the long-time supermodel rings in the big 4-0 today, her younger half-sister, Lottie, has received her first magazine editorial. The February issue of Dazed and Confused features the 16-year-old model in a 60s inspired spread titled “From Lottie with Love,” with mini Moss sporting pieces from Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent, and Miu Miu. While Dazed editor Jefferson Hack has known Lottie for years (he’s the father of Kate’s daughter), it seems the younger Moss could be on the same career path as her older sister. [Fashionista]
Sarah Jessica Parker's New Fashion Venture: The Sex and the City actress known for her love of high heels has been enlisted to help with a new fashion venture—WeTheAdorned. The membership-only e-commerce website will carry exclusively-designed pieces by Pamela Love, Dannijo, Fenton and Fallon, Erickson Beamon, Lulu Frost, Lizzie Fortunato, Paige Novick, and more, with each piece ranging from $50-$1,000. Tim McElwee and Cyia Batten, the website’s co-founders, recruited the recent shoe designer as a curator, introducing a new, limited-quantity item every Monday. “We might only make 200 units of one piece,” McElwee told WWD. “We’re providing a platform for designers that allow them to have a destination where they can sell their best pieces in a way that they can make money. We’re marketing the designers, not WeTheAdorned; it’s a really big differentiator.” [WWD]
