50 Celebrities, 1 Opening
After thousands of emails from MTV and celebrity representatives, host Conan O’Brien was able to land fifty stars for the opening act. The jazz-like sequence featured Hollywood’s elite, including Seth Rogen, Martin Scorsese, Shaun White, Lupita Nyong’o (a last minute addition), and even Grumpy Cat.

Mark Wahlberg’s F@!#ing Acceptance Speech
Marky Mark (you know, from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch), was the recipient of the Generation Award. His acceptance speech was a reflection of his career, and laced with enough profanity to make a pirate blush.
Zac Efron’s Abs

Eminem and Rihanna

Seth Rogen’s Kiss
The skit for presenting the “Best Kiss” award was, umm, cringe-worthy. Before introducing the nominees, Seth Rogen, Dave Franco, and Zac Efron told viewers that three audience members were getting a kiss from them at the show. Rogen’s “mom” then appeared onstage, and shared a smooch. That awkward moment…
Paul Walker Tribute
Another reason to pull out the Kleenex. Fast and Furious co-stars Jordana Brewster and Vin Diesel paid tribute to Paul Walker.
