Hillary Clinton's 'Scrunchie Chronicles'; Azzaro To Make a Couture Comeback in Paris

And John Galliano will not present a menswear collection this season.

The Hillary Clinton Book Title That Never Was: As the world anticipates the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s new book Hard Choices, the former First Lady released some humorous details in her author’s note. While the book focuses on “choices [she] made as Secretary of State and those made by President Obama and other leaders around the world,” some more lighthearted titles were considered—including Clinton’s personal favorite, The Scrunchie Chronicles: 112 Countries and It’s Still All About My Hair.” Submitted by a reader of the Washington Post, the title pokes fun at the public’s long-standing obsession with her hairstyles. Azzaro To Make a Couture Comeback: It’s been over three decades since the French fashion house stitched couture cloth, but that’s about to change. A year after tapping the French-Spanish design duo Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejón as creative directors, Azzaro has announced its return to the couture circuit, showing an entirely new collection at Paris Couture Week in July. John Galliano Will Not Present Menswear This Season: Although estranged fashion designer John Galliano has received a new gig at Russian perfume chain L'Etoile, his namesake line may not be doing so well. For men's fashion week in Paris, which is being held from June 25 through June 29, the Galliano label willl not be presenting a collection. John Galliano, which has been under the helm of creative director Bill Gaytten since 2011 has reportedly had issues with its Italian manufacturer, Ittierre SpA, which has suffered from bankruptcy issues. According to WWD, Galliano is seeking a new manufacturer. [Fashionista]
