President Donald Trump will deliver his first formal prime time speech to the American people on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 9 p.m. ET.
The president’s address a joint session of congress will serve as a traditional State of the Union and an opportunity to “lay out his vision” for the country.
According to press secretary Sean Spicer, the speech is “a work in progress,” but will include “things like education and health care and infrastructure,” along with commentary on “the problems that we face as a country—the violence in some of our inner cities—but also some of the solutions that we can act on and some of the partnerships we can create.”
