Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May be rethinking that snap election.
On Monday, May met with the public and sat down with ITV for her first Facebook Live Q&A. It did not go well.
According to The Mirror, two angry voters over disability benefits cuts in Abingdon market in Oxfordshire. Cathy Mohan, an Abingdon resident, asked May, “Theresa, are you going to help people with learning disabilities? I'm being serious I want you to do something for us."
May’s day only got worse.
During her Facebook Live Q&A with ITV News, Brits across the nation expressed their disdain for the Prime Minister and her policies.
Recently, May announced she would not debate Labour Party leader and rival Jeremy Corbyn. So naturally, he seized this opportunity and jumped in on the comments.
“Hi Theresa May, as Prime Minister you have served your elite friends by giving them tax cuts while wages have stagnated, house-building is at its lowest since the 1920s, there are 20,000 fewer police on our streets since 2010 and the NHS is in crisis. Do you not think the British people deserve to see us debate, live and on TV?”
That’s gotta hurt.
Overall, the angry reactions were pretty clear as they swam along the bottom of the live stream.
May was also blasted on supporting a vote to bring back fox hunts, refusing to guarantee pensioner’s bus passes and faced pleas to legalize marijuana.
Remember, there are only 24 days left until the general election.
