Alex Gibney is the writer, director, and producer of the 2008 Oscar-winning documentary Taxi to the Dark Side, the Oscar-nominated film Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, and Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson. His next documentary, Casino Jack and the United States of Money, about political corruption and the Abramoff scandal, will be released in 2009.
