Angela Zimmann is an ordained Lutheran pastor from Ohio, serving a congregation in the Old City of Jerusalem with her husband, Martin Otto Zimmann. Her 2009 book, “Turning the Noose that Binds into a Rope to Climb,” explores the public speech of women in male-dominated cultures. In 2012 she was the Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress in Ohio’s fifth district. Along with a degree in engineering, she has a PhD in Rhetoric and Writing from Bowling Green State University.
