Planes with bowling alleys, teams of maids, cash stuffed under the mattress—just a few of the seriously wealthy Asians whom author Kevin Kwan has known in his life. They’re the inspiration for his new novel Crazy Rich Asians.
Kevin Kwan was born and raised in Singapore. He has served as a creative consultant for clients such as The New York Times, Rockwell Group and TED.com, and has produced books for Oprah Winfrey, Gore Vidal, and Elizabeth Taylor, to name a few. His first novel, Crazy Rich Asians, was just published by Doubleday. Kwan lives in Manhattan.
