Brian Selznick (‘Hugo’) and William Joyce (‘Dinosaur Bob’) both have new books out. In a spirited conversation, they prove that they talk almost as well as they tell stories.
William Joyce was named by Newsweek as one of the 100 people to watch in the new millennium and recognized as the Louisiana Author of the Year in 2008. Projects based on his works have been translated into feature films and television shows, including Robots, Meet the Robinsons and the Emmy-winning television series Rolie Polie Olie and George Shrinks. Joyce co-directed the Academy Award-winning short film The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.
