Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych appeared in public for only the second time since fleeing his country and palace. Serving as living proof against the rumors he had been killed. Yanukovych said, "I want to say that I am alive, although I can't say I feel very well.” In fact, he seemed pretty angry. Referring to Ukraine's interim government as “bandits,” he denounced the U.S.'s $1 billion economic package of support. He also claimed that he was the only legitimate leader of the country because he was removed in an “anti-constitutional coup” and said upcoming elections were invalid.
