San Francisco could use real Bruce Wayne to fund its admittedly awesome Batkid day. The whole Batkid adventure—which ended up with 14,500 people coming to see Mayor Ed Lee present the 5-year-old Miles Scott with a chocolate key to the city—will likely cost San Francisco $105,000, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. One of the reasons for the cost to the city: so many volunteers showed up to see Lee present the key that the city had to add big-screen TVs and professional staging. Police chief Greg Suhr said there was no additional cost to the police department, since all the cops were on regular duty. The Make-a-Wish Foundation had arranged for the Batkid adventure for Miles, who is battling leukemia.
