One of the most addictive applications on my iPhone at the moment is Shazam! When I hear a song that I like or can't remember the name of, I start the Shazam app and in seconds it has deciphered the song and artist. It also displays the album art work, and provides links to iTunes and the corresponding video on YouTube. Probably my favorite feature though is the ability to take a new photo or attach an existing photo to the song tag, reminding me of when and where I heard the song and allowing me to better construct the soundtrack of my life. It's also available in the UK on any phone by dialing 2580, the pertinent info simply bounces back as a text message. |
