I am a secret Broadway musical junkie. I own hundreds, if not thousands of Broadway’s finest (and not so finest) moments. In tough times, I can always find solace in the original cast recordings of my favorite Broadway musicals. Right now I am listening to a few: 42nd Street―this musical holds a special place in my heart and embodies true Broadway glamour; and Carousel―the only recording that consistently brings me to tears every time. Revisiting a timeless masterpiece reminds you that difficult times and periods of economic hardship are only fleeting―everything will come back around if you give it time...like a good Broadway revival.
