Admittedly, I'm kind of a nerd at heart. Super-sleek bluetooth headsets, despite their improving sound quality, still give me a headache every time I use them. But their Star Trek look gets me every time. So when the indomitable Google re-invented its iPhone search APP as a fancy speech recognition wonder, I couldn't resist the urge to whisper sweet instructions into my favorite device. And guess what? It works! Now I can browse the online universe with just my spoken word.
