Nicolle Wallace served as a senior adviser to the McCain-Palin campaign from May to November 2008. She served President George W. Bush as an assistant to the president and director of communications for the White House, as well as communications director for President Bush's 2004 campaign.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, a novel by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. I love this sweet, well written story. I'm giving copies to my sisters and friends for Christmas because I loved reading the letters that make up this novel as well as the satisfying "happily ever after."

Thank you so much for recommending this book. I adored it and I'm giving it to my Mom for Christmas as well. It's such a sweet story, but also one of courage and team work in amazingly difficult times.

Quirky characters were fun for a while and the underlying WWII story might have been interesting, but the sappy love story makes it a teen book. . .at best.
