I generally have no interest in sports (but for my interest in my undergrad's football team at Oklahoma University). But I need to be versed in what's going on, so I can "talk shop" in social and business settings. I don't feel like traditional sports sites out there do a good job of catering to women. Girls Dig Sports is easy to understand, with a girly undertone but written by a female, hard-core sports fan.The layout doesn't cause me to have ADD in the same way many other sports sites do—it’s pink and frilly, simple and easy to understand. It also doesn't bombard readers with stats or topics that are too "inside baseball." |
