 This piece in Sunday’s Observer casts a brighter light on the current health-care debate than anything I’ve seen in a U.S. newspaper for a while. Because Wendell Potter, formerly of Cigna, used to be part of it, he knows how evil the health-insurance companies really are. Maybe President Obama should have Potter to the White House for a beer this week. The insurance companies and their Republican coat-holders in Congress are winning the fight. Unless the president can mobilize his allies a lot more effectively than he’s done so far, the notion of health care as a human right will be dead for yet another generation. |

Sounds like more objective, unbiased,
ideological generalities.
Are we talking about Congress, and rich powerful lobbyists.
Are Democrats so ethical they would never take
money from Health Insurance Lobbyists ?
