According to Politico Europe, Belgian police reportedly had information about Salah and Brahim Abdeslam, the masterminds of the Paris attack, as early as mid-2014 when they learned that the brothers planned on carrying out an "irreversible act." The anti-terror unit of the police claimed that they didn't file a report because they were not sure which brother intended upon committing the act. But a report from a watchdog organization claimed that the names of both brothers were already in a database.
