Best Dressed, Bow Down: Beyoncé

Despite her absence from the VMAs, Beyoncé showed up to the awards' after-party at the PH-D rooftop lounge in New York wearing a curve-hugging, black Tom Ford dress with sheer detailing. Bey opted for gold-embroided Brian Atwood ankle-strap pumps, a custom crystal and diamond ring, and a gold Giuseppe Zanotti clutch.

Best Dressed, Mixing Patterns: Léa Seydoux

French beauty Léa Seydoux kept things casual but classy at the Paris premiere of Grand Central. Seydoux opted for an off-the-runway Louis Vuitton Resort 2014 navy and white striped, long-sleeved dress under a frayed, shorter-sleeved coat.

Best Dressed, Screaming Sophistication: Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama wore a simple shift from Tracy Reese's fall 2013 collection while celebrating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s March on Washington. The red poppies—a symbol of remembrance—popped against the black flared dress.

Best Dressed, Red Hot: Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock opened the 70th Venice Film Festival in an asymmetrical J. Mendel Resort 2014 gown. She accented the fiery frock with Martin Katz jewels, a black Roger Vivier tube clutch, and ankle-strap sandals.

Best Dressed, The Ultimate Muse: Kate Moss

Best Dressed, So Unlike Herself: Rihanna

Rihanna took a break from promoting her River Island collection (and apparently from her wild and crazy wardrobe) and stepped out in light pink Givenchy blazer paired over a structred white blouse, skinny J Brand jeans, and black Manolo Blahnik sandals.

Worst Dressed, Out of Place: Johnny Weir

If Lady Gaga's VMA outfit got in a fight with a Victoria’s Secret angel, Johnny Weir's outfit would be the result. The figure skater looks, well, a bit out of place at the U.S. Open in white booty shorts, a white leather vest, and angel wings while celebrating Moët & Chandon’s 270th anniversary.

Worst Dressed, Girl Gone Grunge: Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey left the Courtney Love concert in lace leggings, a plaid shirt, and a graphic tee this week. Throw some false lashes on top of it all and her way-too-’90s outfit is a perfect storm of wrong.
