In a scene reminiscent of LAX earlier this week, passengers at Alabama's Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport were evacuated on Sunday after a bomb threat was detected around 4 p.m. Many roads to the airport were closed and flights diverted, but about two hours later the airport was given the all-clear and flight operations have since resumed.
