There goes the internet, making life difficult for important people again. A spokesman for Tony Blair was forced on Thursday to deny rumors that the former U.K. prime minister had any role in Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng's impending divorce. The rumors that Blair and Deng had an affair aren't completely far-fetched, since they are known to be close friends, but the affair speculation is otherwise unfounded. Blair wouldn't even address the rumors himself, instead leaving it all on the spokesman's shoulders. At least he can comfort himself with all the sketchy money he's reportedly making as a political advisor to emerging countries.
