Ahhhhh ... he's a 'lefty' at pool. That makes sense. But does he have game? He certainly has the ayes for it. But can he protect the U.S. Treasury from being looted? Failing to do that would prove as fatal as a scratch on the 8 ball.
What beautiful, poignant pictures. All 20 of these are exceptional.
Nice. I like the photo of his reflection on the tarmac.
I like the reflection on the tarmac photo. I wonder how they were able to get that shot?
The last picture was the best, from behind, if you didn't know any better it could be just a man, enjoying the beach with his children.
I thought he sucks at Pool...
I love the picture of him with the shades. Coolest president since Clinton playing the sax. I think Obama wins, though.
As a North Carolinian, a state that has voted red for the past thirty-odd years, I would just like to say that I find it so inspiring and refreshing to feel proud of our next president. He has a long road in front of him, and a lot to live up to but for now, I can sit back, a little relieved, and hope this man is everything he says he is...
I'm waiting for the first picture of him looking out the window of the Oval Office

I think that the nicest thing about these photos is it shows just a man. A man who has nontheless inspired so many and will continue to inspire. The true message is we all have a part to play in this --- talk to your representatives, make them listen, make them understand --- because at the end of the day it is up to each and everyone one of us to make the sacrifice and keep working for our futures and for those of us who have children for their futures and for everyone else's futures. We all have to fight the good fight.
I live in a state that was red during the election, its hard for me to
brag about how intelligent, and capable Obama is. Its great to be
reminded that he is a man, a father, husband, son, grandson, he
is one of us. Thank you for these poignant photos of an American.God Bless Obama and America!
Hooray!!! I love lefty's.
Nice pics. I particularly liked #8 on the plane coming back from Europe after some pretty heady Euro gatherings. He's back with the press - personal photos stuck to overhead lockers - obviously fleshing out details of his future administration's foreign policy initiatives (a very short chat, according to some of his less exuberant fans!). Maybe the detached perspective of foreigners allowed them to "get" the guy a little quicker than many. Certainly, as an Aussie, I'd support that thesis. Nice pics, nice dude.
ps. How the hell we gonna cope with a First Couple who are openly affectionate with each other? Another case of insufficient vetting?
Thank you.
